It was really nice meeting everyone and it was great to see Dagney and CyberJesus again. Hopefully we can get together again before too much time passes by.

Good thing all he did was think about it otherwise he'd have nothing to fall back on in his old age. Spending your life serving the Watchtower only pays dividends in fantasy land.
My JW wife works in the medical field and is happy that she is in a union. I don't remember hearing anything that said they couldn't be in one.

I was down by the beach this morining and drove by SC Plaza to see what is around there. The TGI Friday is close like CyberJesus said. I also check out the Claim Jumper that is across the street in SCP and Karl Stauss Brewing Company which is on the other side of SCP off of Bear St. Any of the above sounds fine to me. I couldn't remember how to post pictures here so I posted a few picture on facebook of Strauss and the Claim Jumper for you to get an idea what the look like.

Ok, enough kidding around we need to figure out where to meet. As many times as I have been in the South Coast Plaza area I just can't think of where to go. I really liked the Club House next to Bloomingdales but it is gone now and has been replaced by something else. I have no idea what its replacement is like as far as seating and what they offer.
Cyberjesus and I have met at the El Torito across from John Wayne Airport several times. If we can't think of anywhere els I suggest we meet there. It is only a few blocks from South Coast Plaza.
Maybe Brianna could suggest something around where she works. I was just in that area off of Sunflower a few weeks ago but wasn't looking of a place to go and have a few drinks but there has to be several good places right around there.
CJ mentioned the Hilton Suite in Orange. Where is that? Is that on State College by Katella? If so is it is close to where I live but may be out of the way for some but if it has a cool bar then it sounds good to me.
I'll look throught the OC Weekly and see what I can find in the SCP area. I can't believe I'm having trouble thinking of somewhere around there. At one time I could have named at least 20 places.
I really don't care where we meet. I'll just be happy to see some of you so wherever we wind up going will be fine with me.

'Where else is there to go'? Thoughts I had this morning--and evening...

when presented with the possibility that the witnesses could be wrong, the typical response is 'where else is there to go?
' in short, 'if not us, who?

My response to the where is there to go question is always... Anywhere but here. If you know there is something with where you are then move on. Why do you think you need a final destination before you get started? Just get going and enjoy the journey.
We all know that they stole the where are we to go line from the Bible where the disiples ask Jesus where are we to go, you have the saying that lead to eternal life (or something like that). Well you can't apply that line to the Watchtower because they don't have anything like that. What they have is dumb rules that have nothing to do with eternal life or even living an enjoyable life now. What they have over a 100 year history of continually messing things up.
